Biography

Mr. William Constantine served as Portfolio Manager & Managing Director at 1919 Investment Counsel. His primary responsibility is as a Portfolio Manager, overseeing portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring for individuals, families, foundations, endowments, and institutional clients. He entered the Financial Services Industry in 1972 and joined Scudder, Stevens & Clark (a predecessor firm) in 1978. Prior to joining the firm, he spent six years as a Portfolio Manager for personal and trust accounts with Fiduciary Trust Company of New York. He has been active in philanthropic service. Currently, he is an Overseer for PENN's School of Arts and Sciences and Athletics. He is also a Trustee of NYU Langone Medical Center and the Bellevue Association of Bellevue Hospital. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1966 followed by an M.B.A. from Wharton before serving for more than three years as a Lieutenant in the Supply Corps of the United States Navy.
