Meredith Mowen General Information

Biography

Ms. Meredith Mowen serves as Portfolio Manager, Managing Director, Member of the Executive Committee, and Director of the Baltimore Office at 1919 Investment Counsel. Her primary responsibility is overseeing portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring of portfolios for individuals, families, foundations, endowments, and institutional clients. She is a member of the Asset Allocation and Investment Policy committees and chairs the Global Equity Strategy working group. She entered the Financial Services Industry in 1986. Before joining Legg Mason Investment Counsel (a predecessor firm) in 2003, she was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Mercantile-Safe Deposit and Trust Company, now PNC. She received B.S. degrees from Springfield College and Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) and an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the Baltimore Society of Securities Analysts.
