Biography

Mr. Brian Brown serves as Managing Director, Credit Solutions at Silicon Valley Bank. Brian Brown is a managing director of credit solutions for Silicon Valley Bank, leading the practice for the Dallas, Austin, and Phoenix markets. In this role, Brian and his team help technology companies scale their businesses quickly with the bank's forward-focused platform of credit options, which are tailored specifically for the innovation ecosystem. Brian is located in the Dallas office, and he thrives on helping some of the world's most fascinating new companies achieve their goals while building true friendships along the way. Brian joined the Dallas office of SVB in 2001 as a relationship manager, and his efforts contributed to the significant growth of the portfolio. Before joining SVB, he sold banking software for Getronics, a multibillion-dollar Dutch company. At the Dallas office of Crédit Lyonnais, Brian developed large syndicated lending projects. He also worked at Bank One in Fort Worth, where he completed their formal credit training program. Brian holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas Christian University and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.
