Biography

Mr. Nils Bennemann serves as Partner at DPE Deutsche Private Equity. Bennemann served as Partner at Greencoat Capital. He leads Greencoat Capital's investment activities in the DACH region and Scandinavia. He joined Greencoat in 2010 after four years as Investment Manager at Candover Partners where he co-led the company's efforts to originate and execute private equity transactions in the Clean Energy sector. During his time at Candover, he executed buy-outs across Europe and served on the board of directors on behalf of Candover through to the successful realisation of investments. Prior to Candover, Nils spent 3 years in investment banking, arranging several leveraged financings in support of private equity transactions at CIBC World Markets and advising Media and Telecoms companies as part of the M&A team at Lehman Brothers. He has 15 years of experience in private equity, M&A and leveraged finance after spells with Candover, Lehman Brothers and CIBC.
