Biography
Ms. Candice Wells served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary & General Counsel at LINN Energy. She joined LINN in August 2007 as Senior Counsel, was promoted to Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary in 2011, and became General Counsel in 2013. She is responsible for LINN's legal and compliance functions, as well as government relations. She has more than 15 years of experience advising oil and gas companies focusing on securities, corporate governance and corporate finance. Prior to joining LINN, she served as Senior Counsel and Director of Corporate Compliance for EOG Resources and was a senior associate at Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright). She received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 1999.
