Biography

Mr. Benjamin Althaus serves as Partner at AEA Investors. Mr. Althaus serves as Board Member at ROI Solutions. He serves as Board Member at WorldWide Electric. He serves as a Board Member of P&B Intermodal and Contract Land Staff. He serves as Principal, Small Business Private Equity at AEA Investors. n his role, he focuses on investment opportunities in the industrial, services, and consumer sectors. Ben serves on the boards of Connexus Resource Group, CLS Management Services, Inovar, and WorldWide Electric, and previously sat on the board of Allied Power Group. He also served on the board of the former AEA portfolio company Entregado Group. Prior to joining AEA, Ben worked in the investment banking group at Macquarie Capital in New York, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and financings for industrial and service companies. He earned a B.S.B.A. in finance with honors from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He has been an active mentor and supporter of numerous educational and athletic programs including co-founding the University of Denver's Investment Banking & Capital Markets Club, which was formed to educate, develop, and ultimately place students in careers on Wall Street. He is also a supporter of Pencils of Promise, a non-profit organization that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world.
