Biography

Mr. Klaus Entenmann serves as Chief Executive Officer at Daimler. Prior to joining the company, he completed a degree in banking administration and held several management positions in the financial services sector. After working in various sales functions at Mercedes-Benz Leasing GmbH, Entenmann became Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz CharterWay GmbH in 1991. In 1993, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Leasing GmbH. In 2000, he became Vice-President of the Truck Finance division, which is headquartered in Chicago, United States. In 2004, he was promoted to the Board of Management of Daimler Financial Services AG, where he initially held responsibility for the North and South America region. In his function as Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler Financial Services, Entenmann has global responsibility for all of the leasing, financing and insurance activities. In addition, he is also responsible for Daimler Mobility Services, which provides innovative mobility solutions through brands like car2go, moovel, and Park2gether.
