Biography

Mr. Anthony Howcroft is a Co-Founder of Swarm Engineering and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. He previously served as Board Member at Maana, General Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Frost Data Capital. Prior to Frost Data Capital, he ran Microsoft's Big Data team in EMEA for 5 years, following the acquisition of DATAllegro - the Data Warehouse appliance vendor, where he was a Co-Founder and Executive, with responsibility for establishing the US and European sales teams. Previous experience included launching the UK subsidiary for Business Process Management vendor Intalio, and a variety of sales, marketing and leadership roles at companies such as Texas Instruments, Select Software Tools, Unichem and Mondelez. He has a Creative Writing diploma from the University of Oxford, and is a published author of fiction, as well as a blogger on technology, and enterprise startup approaches. He also serves as Borad Member at Maana.
