Biography

Mr. Robert Gifford serves as an Advisory Board Member at Aspen Heights Partners. He serves as a Board Member at Lehman Brothers Holdings. Mr. Robert Gifford served as a Chief Executive Officer & President at AIG Global Real Estate. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of AIG Global Real Estate's investment and development platforms, and for developing and implementing the business strategy to maximize the value of AIG Global Real Estate's assets. He also serves as Chair of the AIG Global Real Estate's Investment Committee. Prior to joining AIG Global Real Estate in 2009, Mr. Gifford was a Principal with AEW Capital Management, the Boston-based real estate investment management advisor to leading institutional and private investors, where he held leadership positions in acquisitions, capital markets, portfolio management, and new product development over his 22 years with the company. Prior to AEW, Mr. Gifford worked for The Rouse Company, a developer and owner of regional shopping centers, urban mixed-use projects, and planned communities. He received a bachelor's degree in history, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in public and private management from Yale University. Mr. Gifford also serves as a Director of Lehman Brothers Holding Inc.
