Biography

Mr. Joram Szerkowski served as Head of Germany, Investment & Partner at ESR Europe. He leads the Team's investment efforts in Germany and Northern Europe. In his role, he is responsible for origination, execution, and strategic oversight of all investment decisions in the region. He joined the Team in 2010 and has over two decades of transactional experience in German real estate - encompassing all elements of origination and sales, underwriting analysis, acquisition and sales negotiations, debt financing, business plan development, and exit strategy, primarily in the office and warehousing/logistics sectors. Since joining the team, he has led numerous transactions totaling over EUR 2 billion, including office and logistic assets predominantly in the top five German cities. Before joining AEPM, he was a senior team member within the Valad Property Group (formerly The iO Group and then Teesland Plc), a European fund management platform, where he worked for over 10 years. During that time, he built and then headed up their German operation and was responsible for transacting over 1.5 million sqm of commercial value-add investments in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Denmark. He holds a degree in Law from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
