Biography
Mr. Shafin Kanji serves as Chairman of the Board at KV Capital. He is a principal and co-founder of Kanvi Homes Inc. and the companies within the KV corporate group. For the last 10 years, he has been engaged in all aspects of growing these businesses from startup ventures to the successful companies they are today. He previously operated a boutique corporate finance firm and before going into business with his partners held the office of Chief Executive Officer of JER Envirotech Ltd. (previously TSX-V listed), and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Matrikon Inc. (previously TSX listed, subsequently acquired by Honeywell). While at Matrikon he successfully negotiated and completed five acquisitions in Canada, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. He also previously served within KPMG's financial advisory services.
