Biography

Mr. Michael Pope was a Co-Founder & Vice President, Marketing & Contracts at Prospector Offshore. Prior to launching Prospector Offshore, Mr. Pope served as Vice President of Marketing and Contracts for Premium Drilling from October 2005-April 2009. In this position, Mr. Pope was responsible for marketing and contracting strategies for a fleet of 13 new build jack-up drilling rigs and managed the negotiation of 38 contracts for 30 companies in 36 months. Prior to his tenure with Premium Drilling, Mr. Pope worked as Manager of Marketing and Contracts for Noble Drilling (UK) for eight years, and Smedvig Ltd. for seven years where he held various contract and marketing positions
