Biography

Mr. Andreas Freier serves as Managing Director at GRR Real Estate Management. Mr. Freier serves as Managing Director of Nordcapital Alternative Assets at Nordcapital. Mr. Freier has been Managing Director of Nordcapital Alternative Assets since 2014 with particular responsibility for investments in the field of real estate, private equity and renewable energies. Mr. Freier, who holds a diploma in property management, has already been Managing Director of Nordcapital's real estate business since April 2008. After completing a banking apprenticeship and a degree in business studies Mr. Freier started work at DIA, later RREEF (Deutsche Bank Group). From mid-1996 he worked at Vereins- und Westbank, later HVB and Blue Capital, with management responsibility for acquisitions, fund structuring and asset management for Europe, the U.S.A. and Canada as well as for fund purchases and depositary bank management for open-end real estate funds. From mid-2006 he was Managing Director of HIH Global Invest, where he developed the foreign real estate business of Hamburgische Immobilienhandlung, part of the Warburg banking group.
