Biography

Ms. Eva Guðbjörnsdóttir served as Vice Chairman at LBI. She is a vice president in the corporate finance division of Ossur hf. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Skeljungur hf. and part-time lecturer in a master's level program in financial engineering at Reykjavík University. She holds a M.Sc. degree in financial engineering from Columbia University in the US and a B.Sc. in engineering management systems and economics from the same institution. Eva Sóley is a licensed securities broker. She worked for Kaupthing hf. in 2003-2008, including in treasury, funding, corporate banking and corporate finance. She was Managing Director of Kaupthing's creditor and portfolio management in 2008-2009 and Managing Director of the finance division from 2009-2011. She served as alternate to the Board of Directors of Íslandsbanki from 2012-2013. Eva Sóley was elected to the Board of Directors of Landsbankinn in April 2013.
