Biography

Mr. Courtney Fazekas served as Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer at Wayne Farms. Prior to joining Wayne Farms in 2003, Mr. Courtney served in a variety of executive leadership and key financial management roles with Pepsi Cola International, Pepsi Bottling Group and Smith Barney, Harris Upham. He was actively involved in implementing PepsiCo's international growth strategy and acquiring bottling companies across central Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East and served as Pepsi Bottling Group's Director of Corporate Planning and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for its Canadian Business Unit. He's a member of the finance committee for U.S. Poultry & Egg Association and serves on the Board of Directors for Idaho Pacific Holdings. As CFO, Courtney's personal and professional emphasis on integrity, accountability and ethical practices parallel and amplify the company's operating principles and business values. Courtney holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and received his MBA from Columbia University School of Business with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.
