Biography

Mr. Normand Desautels served as Senior Executive Vice President & General Manager of the Federation at Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins. His mandate is to help the President establish the strategic orientations and objectives of Desjardins Group. Moreover, he is responsible for managing the Federation's operations and overseeing the main projects that contribute to the development and growth of Desjardins Group. Mr. Desautels has been with Desjardins since 1972, and previously held the position of Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Personal Services and Human Capital. He has over 20 years of experience in higher management positions. Mr. Desautels has a degree in Management (Western Executive Program) from the Western Business School of the University of Western Ontario. CPA, CGA, he has been member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec since 1977.
