Biography

Mr. Sam Davies served as Principal at Kingfish Group. He joined Kingfish Group in 2014 and shares responsibility for developing the firm's private equity partnerships, sector investment initiatives and investment execution. Prior to joining Kingfish, he worked as a consultant in the Dubai, UAE office of Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consulting firm. He advised public and private sector clients in the Middle East and Africa on a wide range of strategies, including new market entry, M&A due diligence, customer segmentation and marketing and brand analytics. He engaged clients in a number of industries, such as fixed and mobile telecommunication, financial services, energy and renewables and aerospace. Before joining Oliver Wyman, he worked for the financial software, data and media company Bloomberg LP as a member of its terminal sales and analytics department. He received a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.
