Biography

Mr. Robert McGee serves as Managing Partner at Mission Consumer Capital. With more than 40 years of experience as a banker and entrepreneur, Mr. McGee served as head of Corporate Banking for JPMorgan Chase (formerly Texas Commerce Bank) in Houston before being named Chairman & CEO of Chase Bank in Fort Worth and Vice Chairman in Dallas, Texas. During his 25-year banking career, Bobby provided financing for acquisitions and corporate takeovers in the Oil & Gas Industry, Food Distribution, Retail, and Transportation businesses; including Mesa Petroleum's targeted Gulf Oil and Unocal takeovers; Sysco Food's acquisition of Sara Lee's distribution business; the acquisition of Brookstone Retail Stores from Quaker Oats: Bain Capital and Drexel-Burnham's acquisition of Palais Royal and Beall's Brothers Department Stores; the Dillon Reed led a buy-out of Hi-Lo Auto Parts and the Texas Ranger's Baseball real estate purchase of the Ballpark at Arlington. His public and private corporate board service has spanned Insurance, Banking, SBICs, Energy, Branded Consumer Products, and Retail Businesses. Current board service includes the University of Texas, McDonald Observatory, Tarrant County College, Texas Christian University (TCU) Entrepreneurship Program, the O'Brien College Quarterback Award, and WPO. He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Texas Business School.
