John Massad General Information
Biography
Mr. John Massad served as Managing Director at Vivo Capital. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Proem Asset Management and is responsible for business development, capital formation, and investor relations. Before joining Proem, He was Managing Director and Global Head of Business Development at Highbridge Capital Management since 2014. Before Highbridge, He held the position of Director at KKR Asset Management from 2011 to 2014, and before that, he was the Director of Business Development at Caxton Associates. Before joining Caxton, He was a Managing Director at BlackRock from 2001 to 2009 and had served in several roles at J.P. Morgan before joining BlackRock. He holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Cornell University. He is also a CFA Charterholder. He served as Mergers and Acquisitions Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan. Previously, he served as a Corporate Finance Teaching Assistant at Brown University's Economics Department.
