Biography

Mr. Joseph Russick serves as Managing Director & Member of Investment Committee at Drum Capital Management. He is a Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer of the Advisor and Senior Member of the Investment Committee of Drum Capital Corp. Prior to joining Drum Capital in 2009, he was a Managing Director and Fund Partner at the Blackstone Group where he was involved in the ongoing analysis and evaluation of distressed securities across multiple industries. Prior to Blackstone, Mr. Russick was a Vice President at Bennett Restructuring Funds, a $1.5 billion hedge fund, where he specialized in public and private investments focused on the distressed debt of companies in or near bankruptcy. His responsibilities included investment research and management, and fund administration. Prior to that, Mr. Russick was a senior associate in Credit Suisse First Boston's Mergers and Acquisitions practice. He began his career with Air Products and Chemicals, where he served in various international business development roles throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim. Mr. Russick has served on the board of directors of Bush Industries, Inc. and the Syratech Corporation and has chaired and served on various creditor committees. Mr. Russick received an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth, and graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University.
