Biography

Mr. Martien van Deursen served as Managing Director at Geneba Properties. He studied Economic Geography at the University of Groningen, specializing in property development upon graduation. His career commenced at Fortis Real Estate Development in 2003 and continued in the valuation and investment business of CBRE, the major international real estate property advisory firm, in Amsterdam. Having worked on the largest Dutch real estate portfolio sale to date he was involved in international portfolio transactions and moved to London to join CBRE's cross border investment team. After four years he returned to the Netherlands to open new CBRE offices in Rotterdam and Utrecht deploying multiple business lines and finally joining the Dutch Management Board of CBRE.
