Matt Kennedy General Information
Biography
Mr. Matt Kennedy serves as Partner & Co-Chief Information Officer at Rice Park Capital. He served as Managing Director at Varde Partners. He is responsible for managing investments in residential and commercial mortgage assets, inclusive of mortgage backed securities and whole loans. Matt also leads investments in specialty finance companies with a focus on residential lending. Based in Minneapolis, he joined the firm in 2009. Prior to joining Värde, Matt was a trader and portfolio manager at GMAC-RFC and was responsible for managing positions in RMBS, ABS, and residential whole loans. He also previously worked as an associate/analyst for Deloitte. Matt graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.B.A. in Finance and Management Information Systems.
