Biography

Mr. Kenneth Rubin served as Partner & Hedge Fund Investment Committee Member at Wexford Capital. He focuses on Wexford's investment grade/ government fixed income, currency/ foreign exchange rate investments and risk management. He has served on the boards of a number of public and private companies in which Wexford has held investments. From 1983-96, he was employed by Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. where he attained the positions of Managing Director and Assistant Secretary of its publicly traded parent, The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. While at Bear Stearns, he managed the creation of a commercial mortgage lending conduit, acted as legal counsel to Office of the Secretary and had transactional responsibility for a number of partnership financing transactions. From 1979-83, he was an Associate in the tax departments of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He holds a JD from Stanford Law School, Order of the Coif and a BA with honors in economics and mathematics from Yale University, magna cum laude.
