Biography

Mr. Chris Velasquez serves as Police Chief at Lake Wales Police Officers' Pension Fund. Ms. Velasquez the Police Chief is responsible for providing law enforcement, crime prevention, and emergency services to all City of Lake Wales residents and businesses. The Police Department works in partnership with the community to reduce crime and disorder and maintain the quality of life we all deserve. The Police Department also partners with the Polk County School Board, Lake Wales Charter Schools, the Lake Wales Housing Authority, and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to provide enhanced law enforcement services within the local school systems, Grove Manor Housing Authority, and CRA-designated areas.
