Biography

Mr. Masaya Kubota served as a Partner at WiL. He serves as Board Member at Autify. He graduated from Keio University's Faculty of Law in 1997 and joined Itochu Corporation soon after. In 1998, he joined Lehman Brothers' Tokyo branch, working in the company's investment banking division as an M&A advisor for a wide range of domestic and international Internet firms. In 2008, he moved to Barclays, handling a variety of telecommunications media projects in that firm's investment banking division. In 2011, Masaya joined SMBC, focusing on launching the company's investment banking business.
