Biography

Mr. Brent Ogilvie is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Pacific Channel. Mr. Ogilvie founded Somnaceutics. He co-founded Diasense. He is a Commercial Co-Founder and serves as Advisor at Orbis Diagnostics. He is a Co-Founder of Breathe Easy and also serves as its Board Member. He serves as a Board Member at Androgenix and A1and Cetogenix. He served as Chairman at Vortex Power Systems. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Engender. He served as Interim Chief Executive Officer at Orbis Diagnostics. He is the Managing Director of Footfalls & Heartbeats and has extensive experience in early-stage venture development, international business development, and corporate partnering. He is co-founder of Pacific Channel Limited, New Zealand's leading venture creation, development, and investment firm focused on start-up and early-stage material, life science, and clean-tech innovation. Pacific Channel is also a seed co-investment partner of the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund. Through Pacific Channel's activities as a seed investor, he also serves as Director of LiquidStrip, Pheromite, Androgenix, Living Green, and SciTOX. He was also Director of Ecodiesel, which sold their business assets to New Image Group (NEW: NZX) and Z Energy respectively. He was previously NZ Consul and Trade Commissioner to New York. He served as Investor Director at Living Green.
