Biography

Mr. Samuel Lissner serves as Partner at Ridgewood Infrastructure (New York). He also serves as Managing Director at Ridgewood Energy. Mr. Lissner leads Ridgewood's LP relations and communications team. He has private equity investment experience in oil & gas, power, and related infrastructure, and he has contributed to raising more than $3 billion from institutional investors to support Ridgewood's real asset strategies. Prior to joining Ridgewood Energy in 2013, Mr. Lissner was Chief Analyst and Project Director at Kohl Partners, where he focused on investments in distributed power and real estate. During his master's studies, Mr. Lissner worked in the U.S. Energy Information Administration's Office of Oil & Gas and on the Environmental Protection Agency's Mobile Sources Team. Mr. Lissner received his A.B. from Harvard University, where he concentrated in Middle East Studies. He earned an M.S. from New York University focused on energy policy and markets, and he received an M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. Mr. Lissner is a member of the Board of Advisors of NYU's Center for Global Affairs, where he also teaches a graduate-level course on Energy Finance.
