Biography

Mr. Philipp Hartmann is a Co-Founder and serves as Partner at Rheingau Founders. Mr. Hartmann served as an Executive at Mountain Partners. He Co-Founded SportMe in 2007. He got his start in the digital industry at Jamba! AG in 2004 and studied at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel (Germany), Sydney, and Buenos Aires. He founded his first startup, sportme, a social community for athletes, with Dr. Tobias Johann and Kai Hansen in 2007, before going on to create Rheingau Founders together. He has since been actively involved in founding and developing more than 20 startups. At Rheingau Founders, He provides portfolio companies with operational guidance with his extensive knowledge and experience in HR, cooperation, and strategic partnerships. He is also a regular speaker at conferences and network events around the globe, and lectures at various universities in Germany (e.g. European Business School, HHL), and mentors at accelerator programs in Berlin (e.g. Techstars, Microsoft Ventures Accelerator, Startupbootcamp).
