Biography

Mr. Sam Bakhshandehpour serves as President, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner at Silverstone Capital Management. He served as Managing Director at Fertitta Capital. Mr. Bakhshandehpour served as President & Co-Chief Executive Officer at SBEEG Holdings Licensing from 2012 to March 2015. In his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of sbe, since joining in 2012, Mr. Bakhshandehpour is responsible for sbe global development and operations surrounding the Hotel, Restaurant and Entertainment Divisions. Mr. Bakhshandehpour also leads sbe's International, Residential, Gaming, and Corporate initiatives, including marketing and partnerships & events. He works closely with sbe Founder and Executive Chairman Sam Nazarian on managing all operations and driving sbe's strategic growth. Mr. Bakhshandehpour joins sbe with an extensive track record as a 15-year veteran of Wall Street, spending over 12 years with J.P. Morgan Securities most recently running the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking practice on the West Coast and the Gaming Investment Banking practice Globally. While at J.P. Morgan, Mr. Bakhshandehpour focused on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising for Gaming & Lodging companies, as well as REITs, homebuilders and real estate private equity funds. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Sam was in the Real Estate, Lodging & Gaming Investment Banking Group at Deutsche Bank based out of New York and Baltimore. Mr. Bakhshandehpour holds a degree in Finance & International Business with a minor in Psychology from Georgetown University and studied abroad at Trinity College at Oxford University focused on International Finance. Currently, Sam serves on the board of The New Home Company (NYSE: NWHM), Union Gaming Advisors LLC, Brentwood Presbyterian Church Pre-School, and Make-A-Wish® Foundation. He is also a member of Urban Land Institute, Georgetown Wall Street Alliance, Young Presidents' Organization, and Make-A-Wish® Real Estate Division's Executive Committee.
