Armando Quintero General Information

Biography

Mr. Armando Quintero served as a Director of Brokered Stations at Davidson Media Group. With more than 40 years in radio and television broadcasting, he is Director of Brokered Stations. For the last eight years he has overseen this important division of Davidson Media Group, while providing assistance in management, programming, sales, and marketing to the local brokers. He is also a veteran sports announcer. He is the lead play by play announcer for the NFL on CBS-TV broadcasts in Spanish. He was the Spanish radio voice of the Dallas Cowboys for 21 seasons and of the Indianapolis Colts for two seasons. Quintero has called thirteen Super Bowls and for World Series. From 1990-96, he served as an NFL and MLB announcer for the CBS Hispanic Radio Network and later for Westwood One. For five seasons, he was the Spanish vioce of the San Antonio Spurs, while Sports Director at Univision's KWEX-TV and four eight seasons was the Spanish play by play voice for the NBA All Star Games and NBA Finals.
