Biography

Mr. Yair Ziv serves as Partner at Jumpgate Ventures. He served as Advisory Board Member of Catalyst CEL Fund at Catalyst Investments. Mr. Ziv served as Partner at VIY Management. Yair has more than 20 years of cumulative international experience in mining, oil & gas, commodity trading and CRE investments. He brings to VIYM his experience in capital markets and commercial property investment management in the OECD and in emerging markets. From 1993 to 2003, Yair served as a Director of Subsidiaries for Topland Group PLC, a major investment company in UK commercial property, with a portfolio valued at over GBP 2.5 billion. He has a degree in political science from Tel Aviv University and, after some further academic study and a period in the Israeli Foreign Office, he became the General Manager of Meridian Commodities, a group trading in bulk grains and foodstuffs. During his time at Meridian Commodities, Yair acquired expertise in international finance, banking and company administration. He currently serves on the BoD and is the CFO of Target Resources, a London AIM quoted diamond & gold mining company.
