Biography

Mr. Anthony Harnett serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Selective Insurance Group. He also serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Selective Insurance Company of America. He is responsible for all accounting, finance, treasury, investor relations, procurement, contracts, and tax functions. He joined the Company in 1999 as a Senior Accountant. He held various finance positions, including Vice President, Controller, and Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller, before he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer in 2016. He has extensive experience in auditing, financial analysis and reporting, and risk management. He previously held financial roles at Toys"R" Us and Deloitte. He has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Albright College in Pennsylvania.
