Biography

Ms. Joan Day was the President and Co-Founder of Worldwide Promedica. Prior to co-founding Promedica in 1984, Joan was Director of Marketing Research at Searle Pharmaceuticals in Chicago where her department was responsible for both in-line and pipeline products. In this role, Joan also served as the marketing research liaison to corporate global partnerships. Prior to Searle, she began her marketing research career at the Quaker Oats Company. Joan holds an M.S. in Advertising from Northwestern University and a B.A. in French from Rider University. Joan's contributions to the industry have been recognized by her election to the National Academy of Women Leaders of the YWCA, Promedica's inclusion in the San Francisco Business Times List of Top 100 Women-Owned Businesses and Inc. magazine's 5000 list of fastest-growing U.S. private companies.
