Biography

Mr. Geoffrey Thrope is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at NDI Medical. He co-founded Deep Brain Innovations and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. He serves as Member of the Advisory Council at University Hospitals Ventures. He serves as Chairman at SPRINT PNS System. He also Co-Founded MEDSTIM. He has more than 30 years of neuro device experience conducting academic research and leading commercial product development, sales and marketing, and business development in the neuro device industry. As a leading neuro device entrepreneur, he has achieved a successful track record of significant returns to his investors. He founded NDI in 2002 to develop and commercialize neuro device products, establishing three ventures and returning over 150 times the original investment back to shareholders in its first exit. Prior to forming NDI, he served as Vice President of New Business Development at NeuroControl Corporation, where he helped attract over $30 million in venture capital investment. He is the inventor of over 60 neurostimulation patents issued and pending and has published and presented more than 50 academic articles. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
