Biography

Mr. Tobias Auferoth is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Financial Officer & Managing Director at Upvest. He served as a Principal at XL HEALTH. After his studies at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, he spent seven years in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and UBS, lastly as Associate Director at UBS in London, where he advised institutional equity fund managers and family offices in the whole of Europe regarding their investment decisions on the Asian stock markets. Since 2014 he is active in Berlin and co-founded the VC-backed FinTech venture Savedo, a marketplace for high yield fixed term deposits in Europe with more than EUR 100m in brokered client assets. He continued as managing director of the ecommerce software provider CommerceBoard before returning to the investment side as Principal of XLHEALTH.
