Peter Folkman General Information

Biography

Mr. Peter Folkman served as Advisory Board Member at B7 Ventures. Peter worked for two American high-tech companies before joining the venture capital group 3i plc. He left 3i in 1989 to set up North of England Ventures raising one of the first regional venture capital funds.The fund was a top performer of its vintage returning over 2.5 times investors cash net of all fees. The fund had a broad range of investments covering start-ups, growth finance, management buy-outs and restructuring. Peter holds a number of Non-Executive Director positions including Chair of the Manchester Science Park and The Manchester Technology Fund, and is an Honorary Research Fellow at The University of Manchester.
