Biography

Dr. Azar Azad is a Co-Founder & serves as Chief Executive Officer at A.I. VALI. She co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer at iTP Biomedica. She served as Managing Director at Mount Sinai Services Inc. (MSS)She is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of spinning out for-profit companies from healthcare systems. As an executive role, she worked as Chief Operational Officer, Managing Director, Chief Scientific Officer, and Co-Director at Banting & Best Diabetes Center. She has many years of working experience in healthcare systems and academic roles at the University of Toronto. She has her Doctorate degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences and her Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Auditor for ISO-Medical Devices.
