Biography
Dr. Habib Fakhrai Co-Founded and served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Activate Immunotherapy. While at the San Diego Regional Cancer Center and the University of California, Los Angeles he developed what became the core technology of the company. Dr. Fakhrai was the first in the world to recognize the importance of blocking immunosuppression in cancer vaccine therapy. He was also the lead scientist in treating a glioma patient for the first time in the world with immunogene therapy. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from Michigan State University.
