Biography
Mr. Jean-Luc Biamonti is a Co-Founder and serves as Partner and Chairman of the Strategic Committee at Calcium Capital Partners. He was previously an investment banker at Goldman Sachs Bank, where he held various responsibilities for 16 years. As a Partner of the firm, he was responsible for the activity of the bank in France as well as the coverage of the sector of distribution companies and consumer products in Europe. In this context, he advised the managers of a large number of companies, accompanying them on financing, acquisition, sale and IPO transactions, and in their strategic thinking. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Jean-Luc was one of the directors of Clinvest, Wasserstein Perella, of which he was a founding partner, and First Boston Corporation. He started his career with Banque de Paris et des Pays-Bas, and was responsible for mergers and acquisitions for the Nestlé Group. Jean-Luc has been on the Board of Directors of Société des Bains de Mer de Monaco since 1985, and Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1995. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Covivio (formerly Foncière des Régions. Jean-Luc is a graduate of ESSEC and Columbia Business School.
