Biography

Ms. Jacqueline Rotman Founded & served as Board Member at Creative Netwerk. She served as Executive Director for a decade beginning in 2005, expanding EDN! nationally and training young people across the United States to launch EDN! chapters - including leading EDN! to leverage its feature on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew in 2010. Jackie returned to EDN! in an operational leadership capacity for a year and a half beginning in September 2019 to support and lead EDN! through crucial transitions and to recruit EDN!'s Executive Director. Jackie holds a Master's in Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA with University Distinction from Stanford. In her fifteen-year career as a social entrepreneur, Jackie has served as Executive Director of three nonprofits, two of which she founded. She currently leads the Center for Intimacy Justice (CIJ), and in 2019 she wrote a viral New York Times op-ed about the need to end business discrimination toward female sexual health and wellness companies. Previously, Jackie was an Associate Consultant at The Bridgespan Group. From 2014 to 2016, she served as Executive Director of Spark, mobilizing thousands of Millennials as philanthropists and advocates for gender equality and women and girls' empowerment. Jackie has been recognized as one of Glamour Magazine's Top Ten College Women, a Google Zeitgeist Young Mind, and Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce's Young Businesswoman of the Year. She has spoken for audiences including TEDx Stanford, Nexus Global Summit at the United Nations, Harvard's Center for Public Leadership, Stanford Graduate School of Business, SOCAP, Ashoka Future Forum, Council on Foundations, Women's Funding Network, and many others. Jackie is deeply committed to EDN!'s mission through the transformative power of dance and the arts, with racial and social justice lenses, and she is grateful and excited for the next phase of EDN! and its great leadership.
