Before VMware, he held product management and operating roles at early-stage startups Montalvo Systems and Ikoa, where he architected, built, and shipped several generations of enterprise products. He started his career as a staff engineer building Sun Microsystems' flagship server UltraSparc. he graduated from IIT Bombay with a major in Electrical Engineering. He has a master's in Science from Purdue University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as a Board Member at StrikeReady.
