Drago Kisic General Information

Biography

Mr. Drago Kisic is the Founding Partner of Grupo Macro. He serves as a member of the board of directors of Cementos Lima, Mapfre Perú, Mapfre Perú Vida, Haug, Banco Financiero, Corporación Rey, Río Alto Mining, Teditex and Clínica Médica Cayetano Heredia. In addition, he serves as President of Macrocapitales SAFI, Inmobiliaria Cerro Lindo and Bodega San Nicolás and is a member of the Board of Directors and Past-President of the Centro Peruano de Estudios Internacionales (Peruvian Center for International Studies) (CEPEI) and the Instituto Peruano de Acción Empresarial (Peruvian Business Action Institute) (IPAE). He also serves on the Sierra Productiva Council and the Board of Trustees of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Museum of Contemporary Art) (MAC). Mr. Kisic served as Director at Tahoe Resources. He has previously served as Advisor to the Executive Director of the World Bank, President of the Peruvian Securities and Exchange Commission (CONASEV) and Vice-President of the Lima Stock Exchange, as well as serving on the board of directors of Textil El Progreso, Siderperú, Peruplast and the Cámara de Comercio de Lima (Lima Chamber of Commerce). He served as Head of the Economic Advisory Office and Balance of Payments and External Sector Manager at the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (Central Reserve Bank of Peru). He served as a member of the Consultative Committee of the Foreign Relations Ministry and was President of the Border Integration Commission in the Peace Negotiations between Peru and Ecuador, as well as running as a candidate for the first Vice-Presidency of Peru with Unidad Nacional in the 2001 elections. His is the author of three books, as well as a number of articles. Kisic has an economics degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Masters from Oxford University.
