Biography

Dr. Peter Staats serves as Co-Chief Medical Officer at National Spine & Pain Centers. He also served as a Board Member at TuHURA Biosciences. He is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Premier Pain and Specialty Anesthesia Associates. He is the Co-Founder and serves as the Chief Medical Officer at electroCore. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine and the Department of Oncology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the founder of the Division of Pain Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, where he was the director for ten years. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor and completed his residency and fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Staats is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a fellow of the World Institute of Pain and the North American Neuromodulation Society.
