Biography

Ms. Tasnia Huque serves as Principal at Javelin Venture Partners. She served as a Senior Associate at Endeavour Capital. She was previously a financial analyst at Barclays in the Investment Banking Division. She brings a strong background in corporate finance, coupled with a passion for innovative problem-solving and the belief that technology will make the world a better place. At Cue Ball, she was responsible for prospecting and evaluating investment opportunities, performing due diligence, executing transactions, and assisting with current portfolio companies and other ad-hoc firm-specific projects, such as investor relations. She worked on a variety of M&A deals, primarily on behalf of private equity clients, spanning several industry verticals, including technology, telecommunications, diversified industrials, and consumer retail. She also spent time with the Institutional Investments team at Alliance Bernstein and founded a forum for students to embrace entrepreneurship at Bates College. Amongst other things, she wrote for the school newspaper, acted as a residential advisor, and participated in student government. She has been involved with several volunteering organizations, including Minds Matter, Echoing Green, and Endeavor Global. She has worked in technology and capital advisory, directly or peripherally, for over a decade. As a prior operator and investor, she is passionate about supporting founders in the earliest stages of company building. She helped build consumer application products at Toast to help restaurants better retain, engage, and acquire customers. She also spent some time at Warner Brother's helping craft its international studio strategy. At Javelin, she is focused on new deals and portfolios across the future of work and consumer internet. She also supports the Partners across several other categories, including prop-tech, fin-tech, B2B SaaS, and web3. She holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Bates College, graduating with distinction.
