Biography

Mr. Gary Cotton serves as the Managing Director, of EMEA, Board Member and Chief of Staff at First Sentier Investors. He also serves as Managing Director, EMEA, and Chief of Staff at First Sentier Investors International IM Limited. He sits on the board of directors of each of FSI's main operating entities in the UK and Ireland and is a member of the executive leadership team. He served as Chief Operating Officer of M&G Investment Management and M&G Alternatives Investment Management at M&G Investments. He was Chief Operating Officer of M&G Investment Management and M&G Alternative Investment Management. He joined M&G in February 1996 and was promoted to Head of Equities Business Management in 2001 where he was responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Equities fund management business. He was appointed Chief Executive of Equities from November 2011 to November 2015 and is also a director of M&G Securities Limited. Before joining M&G, he worked at Sedgwick Noble Lowndes. He holds a BA (Hons) from Middlesex University.
