David Humphrey General Information

Biography

Mr. David Humphrey serves as Partner, Private Equity, Global Head of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Vertical and Co-Head of Bain Capital's North American Private Equity Business at Bain Capital. He serves as a Board Member at EnterpriseDB, Genpact, Navicure, Qwiqq and ExtraHop Networks. Mr. Humphrey also served as Chairman at Blue Nile. Earlier, he was an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions group at Lehman Brothers from 1999 to 2001. He also serves on the board of directors of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Inc., and previously served on the board of directors of Bloomin' Brands, Inc. until 2015. He holds an MBA and a BA in Economics from Harvard Business School.
