Biography
Mr. Glen Surnamer serves as Chief Operating Officer, Chairman of the Board & Director at BarrelSense. He co-founded Bookigee and served as its Director. Well-versed and experienced in public company compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, Glen is building our financial and operations infrastructures with the vision of a robust internal control system that we will grow into. Through his partnership at Equita Amici, Glen also sponsored an investment syndicate that has participated in our Angel Round. In 2008 Glen served as COO at Curex Capital, an investment management firm based in New York City. From 1994 to 2007 Glen was a partner of Van der Moolen USA, (VDM), a subsidiary of a publicly-traded broker-dealer listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. At VDM Glen was a member of the NYSE and a senior trading partner, and served as COO from 2006 to 2007. He graduated from Emory University with a BA in English in 1994 and earned his MBA in Finance in 1998 from NYU-Stern School of Business.
