Biography

Mr. Jason Klein is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at On Grid Ventures. He serves as an Advisor at Tire Agent. Mr. Klein is on the advisory boards for TireAgent, EnerKnol, Shoppable, and, until its recent sale, PageScience. He served as an Advisor at Walmart. Mr. Klein was President and CEO of the Newspaper National Network (NNN). Prior to NNN, he was CEO of Times Mirror Magazines. He is a founder of MDconsult.com, an aggregator of medical information for professionals, now owned by Elsevier. He also founded Healthy Living Media, a private-equity-backed venture, with North Castle Partners. He is on the board and executive committee of the New York City Police Foundation and is an officer of the Harvard Business School Club of New York. Mr. Klein is the immediate past Chairman of the Editorial Board of the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine and a past board member of the Magazine Publishers of America. Mr. Klein was President and CEO of Newspaper National Network LP, the leading national network for local media, and a limited partnership of 25 of the largest U.S. local media companies including Tribune, Gannett, Hearst, Advance Newhouse, New York Times, and the Washington. Mr. Klein holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB from Dartmouth College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude in computer science.
