He also served as Board Member at Krowd9. He advised multiple early and later-stage media and media tech companies. In 2012, he exited his company Demotix to Bill Gates' Corbis Images. Demotix, which he founded in 2007, had become the world's largest network of photojournalists. He is a publisher, journalist, author, talking head, and political analyst (mostly focused on the Middle East). He is an entrepreneur and journalist who has dedicated the past few years of his life to understanding why polarization has accelerated in the world, and what we can do about it. He hosts the Parlia Podcast, "On Opinion" speaking to experts around the world on issues related to opinions, polarization, and human behaviour, etc, to uncover the truth behind our beliefs.
