Biography

Mr. Curtis Krizek is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Prairie Capital Management. He is responsible for managing client relationships, and investment manager due diligence, and serves on the firm's Investment Committee. He also coordinates business, legal, and tax matters with clients and their legal and tax advisors. Prior to forming Prairie Capital, he practiced law for over a decade as a partner with a major regional law firm based in Kansas City, specializing in corporate, securities, real estate, private equity, and finance law. He was a founder of the firm in 1995 and serves or has served on the boards of various organizations, including The University of Virginia Jefferson Scholars Foundation Advisory Board, The REACH Healthcare Foundation, The Nature Conservancy (Kansas Chapter), The Kansas Development Finance Authority, The Kansas State University Foundation, The Peregrine Fund, The Kansas City Ballet, Centurions Civic Leadership Program, and the State of Kansas Indigents' Defense Services. He graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Life Sciences (Honors Program, Phi Kappa Phi), and received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
